Pastor Michael Mang

Pastor Michael grew up in the Midwestern heartland of Indiana and Illinois as the third of four sons. He attended Indiana University, but transferred his junior year and graduated from Aurora University in the Chicagoland area intending to study law.
However, the LORD’s providence led him into the gospel ministry instead. After graduating seminary he taught Greek and New Testament while pastoring PCA congregations in the Upstate South Carolina region.

Michael and his lovely bride, Laurie, have three grown children (Courtney, Samantha, Josef) and six grandchildren.
Along with a dedicated team of Elders and Deacons at Spriggs Road Church and a congregation that doesn’t merely hear God’s word but does it, Pastor Michael feels privileged to serve Christ in the shadow of the nation’s capital. He relishes expositional preaching and teaching with the goal that the audience tackle the issues arising from the text and seek to discover its meaning for living in the twenty-first century.
Michael and Laurie have lived in Northern Virginia since 1997.
Pastor Matteson Bowles

Matt Bowles was a one-time anthropology major with an archaeology emphasis at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, once spent three months on an archaeology dig in the Middle East. Matt has engaged his anthropological interests through M.Div studies at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida and now has almost three decades of pastoral ministry.

He served primarily in his native Knoxville, Tennessee, then Ocala, Florida and most recently with planting the RUF-International ministry at George Mason. Matt now serves the congregation of Spriggs Road as a teaching elder and assists with the youth and young adult ministries as well. Matt is married to Amy, who he first met on a blind date, and they have three daughters and a son.
Pastor Jegar Chinnavan

Rev. Jegar Chinnavan is a PCA (Presbyterian Church of America) ordained minister. He received his M. Div. from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Th.M. from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. He is married to Jemima for 27 years and they have a daughter, Sheena.
